Evacuation Plan in Case of Emergency

  •  Alarm/siren goes off.
  • Each teacher present in class closes windows, switches off the lights, takes the homeroom class package placed in the classroom, quietly leads the students out in line, and then closes the door.
  • Teachers ensure students do not go to the lockers/toilets or return to class to pick up something they forgot.
  • Teachers ensure students walk quietly in line and hold on to the stair rails, if any. The class closest to the stairs leaves first.
  • Supervisors ensure elevators are not used at all.
  • Supervisors ensure students in the toilets or outside their classes do not return to their classes but just continue to the designated areas on the grounds.
  • Each teacher present in a Preschool class ensures his/her students leave and assemble at the basketball court as designated.
  • Each teacher present in an Elementary School class ensures his/her students leave through the stairs of Block B to the basketball court and line up per class as designated.
  • Each teacher present in a Middle School class ensures his/her students leave through the stairs of Block A to the basketball court and line up according to homeroom as designated.
  • Each teacher present in an ISD class ensures his/her students leave through the stairs of Block A to join their respective homeroom on the grounds as designated.
  • The lab assistant/teacher in the Biology/Chemistry lab ensures his/her students leave through the stairs of Block A and join their respective homeroom on the grounds as designated.
  • Each teacher present in a Senior School class ensures his/her students leave starting with the second floor of Block C down the stairs unto the space designated for their respective homeroom.
  • One supervisor from each section (Elementary, Middle and Senior Schools) takes the absence list for the day plus a copy of all the class lists to check with teachers/staff members taking attendance. If the absences do not tally, the supervisor then informs the administrator in charge.
  • Each Head of Section (or the Dean of Students) ensures all the section’s floors are clear of students and teachers before leaving for the designated area.
  • Administration and cafeteria staff leave through the front stairs of Block A to assemble in the designated area.
  • The receptionist takes down the teachers/staff members attendance sheet along with the students lists in case a list is missing.
  • All teachers/staff members head for the grounds to register attendance and assist with the students.
  • Nobody leaves the designated grounds until given the "All Clear” sign by the administrator in charge.
